Metal Panels for Sci-Fi and Industry

Grungy plates, modular panels and padded metal panels for spaceship hulls, factory walls and industrial floors, plus a few rust surfaces. Use them on space 3D models and futuristic models, or pair them with rust materials for heavier corrosion.

Which resolution do I need?

Metal materials come as ZIP files, the largest at 8K. The seams between panels are the first detail to blur, so use 4K or 8K on a hull in close-up, and 1K or 2K for set dressing far from camera.

How to texture a spaceship or factory

Line up panel seams with your model's hard edges and hatches, so the plates look built rather than printed on.
Scale the panels down to make a ship feel bigger: more, smaller plates across the same hull read as a larger craft.
Add scuffs where crew and machines touch it: around hatches, along walkways and on leading edges.
Light ships in orbit with our space HDRIs, so the panels reflect a believable sky.
